Day 82: IT’S COMING! — Pastor Bryant
Today’s Reading
1 Cor 15 – Gal 3
The whole world this morning is tuned into the Olympics waiting to see if Michael Phelps is going to break and make history by acquiring an astounding eight gold medals. Athletic enthusiast from every field are awaiting to see if in there life time they will be witnessing what many journalist believe is the greatest athlete to live in the 21st century. In 1972, Mark Spitz won seven gold medals setting the stage and the standard by which Michael Phelps is being judged. Interestingly enough when Mark Spitz broke the record Michael Phelps wasn't even born. On the cover of this mornings USA TODAY, Vicki Michaels wrote that she doesn't believe that what Michael Phelps is going to accomplish will be topped anytime soon. She argues passionately that the key to his success are many including his form, the structure by which he approaches the sport, his height, he measures up to 6'5”. His diversity, most swimmers are good in one area such as relay or 100 meters but Mike dominates in all. What is all the more awe inspiring is the fact that he not only wins but every time he competes he breaks his own record. Having won his 6th gold medal last night we all sit by the bleachers of our bedrooms expecting that....it’s coming!
The book of Galatians is an intriguing treatise of theology. It’s light on narrative but heavy on proposition. In chapter 2 it argues and articulates our being justified by faith. Assessing that we ought to all be dead but for the grace of God and the sacrifice of Christ we are all yet still here. In chapter 3 he helps us to understand that where we are as recipients of Grace is not because of the law because we all have broken the law(of the old testament), its not by works because the work we do for the kingdom still doesn't qualify us for the gift of his grace. But rather and instead it is because of our faith. Our power to believe in Him is the most powerful tool and weapon that we have at our disposal that is grossly under used. In verse 22 the dissertation on faith begins to intensify when it states, "the scripture imprisoned everything under since that the promise of faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe.” Just to know that your sin got sent to prison without parole because you have been reading through the bible over these 90 days.
In verse 23, it says before faith came we were held captive under the law, imprisoned until the coming faith was revealed. For those who have been feeling bogged and stifled by circumstances and situations hold on, your new faith is coming. When the faith you have been stretching for, reading for, praying about and travailing through arrives, the bonds will be broken! In verse 25 the last verse we are to read for today makes a declaration that all of us need to read and remember, YOUR NEW FAITH IS HERE!!!!! All this time you’ve been hearing in church about it coming, wait on it, the word for today is that its here! Just before it gets here in verse 24 it states our guardian Jesus came that we might be justified.
Take delight knowing you are anointed to be like Michael Phelps, this year you are going to break all your old records, pray more, study more, have more discipline. You have to get to 8 medals because 8 is the number of new beginnings and its time for you to have a fresh start. Your structure and form of your life is getting ready to change. You are history in the making. Tell the atmosphere, ITS COMING!...Keep in mind what ever feats you accomplish its because of a sacrifice made before you got here, no its not Mark Spitz but because of Jesus Christ. Get ready to get the gold this weekend. Don't doubt it, because by faith ...IT’S COMING!

Dr. Bryant,
It is exciting to know that our crossover from the tutelage of the Law to faith in Christ (Gal 3:24-26) is very, very empowering.
To know that in union with Christ our FAITH is now dynamite: powerful and renewing is mindblowing. This revelation might be one of life's greatest secrets.
For Gal 3:26-27 reminds us that through our faith we are baptized into CHRIST.
This is tremendously good news! Because this baptism of Christ means we can endure. WE CAN DO. We can instruct. We can heal. We can lead and we can do the seemingly impossible. This baptism makes us Champions!
For though demoniacs may attempt to slay me, somewhat like Christ I may go down for a few days or so; but sure enough -- I'll rise again to flaunt His crown!
Champions, once you have re-collected yourself from this dynamic revelation, KNOW that your miracle, your breakthrough, your GREATER GOOD IS COMING because Gal 3:25,26,27&29 say so!
And Pastor Bryant put it out there.

The year of new beginnings!!! It’s coming!!! Awesome!

Romans 1:17 For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last,[c] just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith."[d]
1 Corinthians 2:5 so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power. 6We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. 7No, we speak of God's secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. 8None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him"[b]—10but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 11For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. 13This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words.[c] 14The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15The spiritual man makes judgments about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man's judgment: 16"For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him?"[d] But we have the mind of Christ.
I heard about your faith Romans 8:12-17 Don't doubt it, because by faith ...IT’S COMING!

"ITS COMING",I receive in the name of Jesus!.Just a couple of days ago as I was lying on my bed, just soaking in the presence of God and meditating on his words and promises.I always take time out of my day just to be in his presence, whether at home or at work.I just take a moment to just rest in him.I saw saw in a vision, mountains.
Each mountain started at a higher peak than the one before it.They varied in height,at the highest mountain,at the end of it was Jesus. He was standing with his arms spreaded wide open, and beckon as though he was saying, come unto me,I'm hear at the end of every mountain that you reached in life. Also around was a huge field of every color flower in the rainbow. As far as I could see was flowers. As I began to rise up off the bed,in the corner of my left eye dropped a tear.I tear that I never felt i was releasing.Todays blog is revelation to my spirit that 'ITS COMING".He's standing with open arms.
In the 2 Corinthians,Paul teaches the believers to learn to accept critcism, growing despite conflicts, living a Godly life and finding hope for the future in the midstof present trouble.God's strength is sufficient anytime and in any situation. In my time of weakness is when is HE IS MADE STRONG.
Startng this 90 days of reading the Bible.I started a my lowest point of understanding God's word.I prayed and asked God to let his word,Be a lamp to my feet, and a lamp to my pathway, and to let his word bring clarity, and simplicity to my life.I prayed for a better understanding of his word.To let me apply his word to my everday life.I CAN SEE GROWTH IN THE MOUNTAINS.I pray that we all can see growth in our lives.

Pastor Bryant in Romans Chapter 1 I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you, because your faith is being reported all over the world.
This faith message is exactly what I needed to read today because I recently discovered that the opponent attempted to hinder what’s already in motion in my life... I declare it can’t be stopped in Jesus name! The devil is a liar – he attempted to CHANGE MY testimony and he changed my MESSAGE of hope but what he doesn’t realize is that he can’t prevent it from being heard (in the future). Selah.
Continue to encourage the people of God to have faith knowing that something good has to come out of this. I think I’ll praise Him with a shout of Alleluia!!!
Preach tonight Black Man!!!
Amen.

Praise God for using you (Pastor) for this blessed teaching. In prior reading and teaching, we've learned that faith pleases God. Hebrews 11:6 says " But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." Our relationship with God is largely determined by our faith. When we come to Him, we must believe that He exists and that He is exactly who He has revealed Himself to be in Scriptures. We must also believe that He will respond to us when we earnestly seek Him. Without this kind of faith, we cannot please God. Regardless of the morality of our life, the good works we perform, the words we speak, or the sacrifices we make for His sake, if we do not have faith, we will not please Him. It can be tempting to substitute religious activity for faith in God. Christians may claim they are being "good stewards" of their resources when, in fact, they are wanting to walk by sight rather than by faith (Hebrews 11:1). They may refuse to do what God tells them unless they can see all the resources in place first. You may say "I love God, but I just have difficulty trusting Him." Then you are not pleasing to Him. We cannot struggle at the core of our relationship with God and still enjoy a vibrant fellowship with Him! Faith does not eliminate problems. Faith keeps us in a trusting relationship with God in the midst of our problems. Faith has to do with our relationship with God, not our circumstances. I've heard some may say, "I'm not much of a person of faith. I am more of a practical person!" Yet we will never do anything more practical than to place our trust in the Lord. Nothing is more secure or certain than that which you entrust to God. Praise God--It's Coming!!

Dr. Bryant, the book of Galatians is important. And yes, and these are real theological issues the church today are still trying to resolve, the social dynamics and divisions between christians.
This thesis of Paul's to the Galatians takes us back to Acts 13:1-51, 14&15, where Paul is called before the Jerusalem Council in Acts 15. Many there did not understand that the blessings of Abraham is to the whole world. Many thought that inclusion among God's people came through their ethnicity, rather than faith.
The same issues that are facing todays' church paralel the church in Paul's times, strange doctrines, infiltrators, and so on, trying to corrupt the word of God, spoken by the man of God.
The on going message by Paul of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Galations was the same when he defended himself before them about his purpose, to love and care for one another, and to ask ourselves what is rightenousness,
and how do we receive a proper standing before God?
