Over the last 85 days we have grown together as a family in a very real way. We have fasted together, we have cried together, we have changed, developed and matured. As we come to the end of this journey I feel compelled to open up the altar for prayer. There are countless numbers of you who are going through some serious tight spots and challenges and it’s my earnest prayer that you do no conclude these 90 days the same way you started.
13Is any among you afflicted? Let him pray. Is any merry? Let him sing psalms.
14Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
15And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
16Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
James 5:13-16
Today, I along with my staff want to pray with you and over you. I believe in the power of the word and I believe in the power of prayer. Make your prayer needs and concerns known today and we will be lifting up the situation on this Internet altar. All day I charge you to pray one for another and to believe that God is going to do his perfect work. The text says pray for those who are sick, so in all intensive purposes we aren't limiting the prayer to just physical sickness but whatever it is you might be sick of...the altar is now open! I believe we should always pray for others and not be selfish when it comes to ourselves. I get joy when i submit prayer unto the lord about anyone or any given situation.

Father, you want us to grow up, to know the whole truth and tell it in love - like Christ in everything. We take our lead from Him, who is the source of everything we do. May we be filled with the knowledge of your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. We commit to pray for one another, keeping our eyes open and each other's spirits up so that no one falls behind and drops out. We are one in the bond of love in the name of Jesus. Amen

Thanks again Jamal, I come to the altar with asking you to pray with me for my kids that has gone astray. It's seem the more I pray for them the worst the situations gets. I know that the lord is not going to give me no more than I can bear and I have all my faith in him that this is going to turn around. Along with that I also recall in one of your sermons you saying it might get worst before it gets better. It's draining me. Today I ask that you please pray for me & my family.

Father you will perfect that which concerns us. I commit and cast the care of my sister's children once and for all over on you our Lord. They are in your hands, and i am positively persuaded that you are able to guard and keep that which i commit to you because you are more than enough. i declare and decree that the enemy is turned back from your children in the name of Jesus! Wow! I can't believe the end is finally here? I feel like we have just started. Yeah! I defintely need to be prayed over! I know God and what God has put in side of me and through my tears it just looks like its not working.
Also I want prayer for health,family issue,s and more I am really struggling with this walk ( job wise and more) please pray for me and over me. I am grateful you have this NOW! Thanks for everything.

Please, do pray for me. I thought last year was the hardest of my life ( 50 hmmm yrs,smile) until this year came. This year has brought many transitions and certainly a new beginning. Its been a very rough beginning and yet I know that it was all necessary for purpose and destiny.
Please pray my safe passage ( keep it together) into that which God purposed for this time in my life. At the moment,although I know God is in control there are periods where I feel quite tossed and even sometimes stuck. Thank you

HALLELUJAH FOR THIS PLATFORM PASTOR,
As much as I have tried to be a "Super Saint" and handle everything all by myself, unfortunately I am not. That is why I am ever so grateful to be connected to the household of faith of Empowerment Temple; for me it truly is the most POWERFUL PLACE ON THE PLANET! It is where GOD has placed me at this time to be Spiritually directed and nurtured.
Now concerning sickness, I am blessed to not have any physical issues; yet there are a couple things that I AM SICK OF: (1)The enemy trying to disrupt the Joy and Peace that dwells in my home.
Pastor, I pray that you and the other elders of the church agree with me that my 13 year old daughter will quickly get through this stage of rebellion that is trying to attach itself to her. She is a Honor Roll, student, a loving and giving person, since she began talking and walking. As my oldest of two, she also is the person that my 4 year old daughter,(Sacred), tries to follow around and looks up to. I teach her, that just as I need to be a good example to them both, she needs to be a good example to her little sister. I rebuke and cast out any demon or imp that's trying to lead her to be otherwise.
Pastor, I hung onto your every Word from all 3 services this past Sunday.
(2)Now concerning this relationship that I have been in and out of for about 5 years; Please Pray With Me. I AM SICK OF that man buying more time, over the promise to marry me. I asked GOD for a deadline, and on 08/08/2008 I began a NEW BEGINNING of freeing myself from any further manipulations and false prophesies from any man.
Since the WORD has taught me who I am in Christ, I know my worth as a daughter of Zion. I have had to turn down a few proposals because the Holy Spirit showed me that my anointing was not for That One. My petitions are now on the altar, and I need the prayers of the saints to go up so that Angels will be dispatched to cover me in areas that I may not see for myself.

I Thank you Lord and I Praise you for all things, and that Brenda needs will be met! In the name of Jesus, I ask Lord that you will speak into her daughter's soul Peace as I send it now. Every other spirit has to go by the power of the holy ghost I send love joy,peace, hope to surrond the home of Brenda and the blood to cover all around them.
Restore this child love take out hurt,clear her mind of all unforgivness ,bitterness, wash her mind with your love let her feel your power in your love O my lord. Help this to come to pass in this child's life fill her with your holy spirit, and let her know you are not just up in heaven but you are right there with her. Restore to her what the devil has tried to take from her.Help her to get these things out of mind (these thought and voices she hears).

I bless that house with the fullness of you and every power of darkness, I order them out, and I bind the things that are said to her every lying tongue , I comand you to go, in the name of Jesus. I place on her path your light Lord, your victory, and love unconditional.
Set the path for her , dear God put in your grace, mercym love,and joy, into her. I pray this and call it to be so by the power that work in me by the holyspirit.I Praise you Lord ,a test and testimony, shall come to this household and love will break down everything that is not like God.
This is my love, my lady and when she or her daughter is hurting I should feel that in your spirit and I do as with all your children because we are of ONE BODY. Praise God with me for complete healing in my body. Agree with me in prayer to put on the whole armor of God daily.Pray that I will await God’s perfect will to manifest in my life. In spite of current opposition remember that all of the promises in God are yea and amen.
Remain focused on the God-given vision (have a book to help with that). Converge with those who are destined to be in my life for an eternal purpose at the perfect time for God’s glory. Continue to yield so that I’m prepared. Always pray.

I thank God for you pastor and staff. I need prayer because I have been attending this church for over two years and I'm still deciding whether to join or not. Since I have been at this church I have been inspired and empowered, but now I have discovered that rumors are being spreaded around the church about me. I come to church and disturb no one. I feel upset and hurt because these are people with so called titles at the church. So, I have decided maybe it's best that I leave. I want to move in October, but my family want to stay in Baltimore. Also, I need prayer for the healing of our bodies and the sanity of our minds.

I'm praying with you and also praying that you seek deliverance from the opinions of people. I know it sounds harsh but I've learned this lesson the hard way. No matter what you do, someone is going to always have an opinion.
The only opinion that should ever move you or concern you is God's opinion.
I pray that you receive this with love. Use this a testimony to the goodness of God and bless and encourage someone else who will encounter the same situation.

First and foremost I want to thank God not for what's He's done or even what He's going to do. I just want to thank Him for God and for being everything that I need.
So many times we get caught up in the "blessings" that we lose sight of the "blessor".

Her cry for help stirred something in me so bad.. I am at work and was going to reply to her original e-mail but thought it best to put it on the altar.

Kim and Baby, I was molested too,the unspeakable happened to me beginning at age five, gangs of boys and so on.
If you only knew I had to look one of my demons in the face everyday, everyday as they were members of my household. There was no closing anybody out because the predator may have been a victim too and just maybe five years older.
I was raised old southern. See no evil hear no evil, speak no evil. The family was close but we had our secrets.
So the secret was kept making me angrier everyday. Until I turned it over. Kim, if you are out there God is the greatest doctor and counselor he will seal the wounds of your heart as a mother.
Running to the doctor may only provide a temporary fix, the doctor will prescribe Zoloft, Predisone, Adivan and other prescriptions for depression for your daughter and if you have been abused, raped or molested yourself you are going to end up taking them too. You will talk to the counselor but you really won't feel better. A prescription is temporary a few hours of relief and you got to take another one, but the anger may still be their. He fixed me permanently, signed and sealed. So he can fix you and anybody else so...

Get on your knees and pray until you get an answer. Let him heal the scars. Wipe away your tears of guilt. There is no better doctor to teach you forgiveness, you can talk to everybody in the world but you won’t get rid of the RESIDUE! until you...

Lord, I cry out to you and ask that you will manifest your total healing power. Use your servant to spread your love to those who have suffered these same or similar attacks. I cover everyone who has suffered these types of attacks with the Blood of Jesus Christ. I break every generational curse in the name of Jesus. Touch their hearts, minds, and let you healing virtue flow. I release the peace of God that surpasses all understanding. I thank you Jesus that what the enemy meant for harm that you will some how use it to liberate others. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

I'm so glad the internet altar has been made available! Especially today, as I feel as though a prisoner, isolated from society. However, after much prayer last night, I'm being led in my spirit to step out on faith and leave so much behind that I became dependent on!
My prayer request for today moving forward is that as I leave my past behind and refrain from licking old wounds (reflecting on the past) that my new beginning will officially start and the joy of the Lord WILL BE MY STRENGTH!
God bless Empowerment Temple. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time of fellowship with you via the 90 days in the bible. May the Lord's favor rest upon you and your families, all the days of your lives.

Today I am believing that you are cutting the chords and kicking the crutches of co-dependancy. Lord we cry out to you and give you permission to cut every soul tie. No matter how much it hurts or how loney it gets I pray that when she needs help, love, comfort, and company that she will look to the hills whence cometh her help and declare that her help now comes from the Lord! We praise you and give your name all the glory because now she is free from everything and everyone who had a demonic assignment to keep her bound. Amen.

I ask you and the church family to pray for me, my family and a close friend of mine that I am taking care of...his kidneys are failing but I pray he will be made whole again. One of my sisters has acid reflux really bad, a niece is involved with a lesbian, a nephew has a serious drinking problem, and I have two large fibroid tumors...please keep us in prayer that we all will be made whole again just as God would have it. I thank God in advance for the healing he has already bestowed upon us and for his mercy. Thank you Pastor Bryant for being there opening up the altar and thanks to all who are reading this and sincerely praying for our well being. I know all things are possible with God.

Thank you so much for the opportunity to study the Word with you. This has truly been both a maturing and enlightning experience. Your sermon, People Can Change, has inspired me to submit this prayer request. The father of my children is in a very dark place and I believe doesn't know his self worth. We have both a son and daughter and each day we pray that he will open his mind and heart so that God will speak to him so that he can become the great man of God that the Holy Spirit showed me he would become nearly 17 years ago. I want to see him walk into his destiny, be happy, and need him to be whole for our children. Thank you Pastor Bryant for this forum for prayer. I have been reading the bible for these past 85 days and the words have meant so much more than when I've read the bible before. God revealed so many things to me through his Word.
First let me say that I'm praying for you Pastor. I don't know how you keep up your schedule, but may God give you the fortitude to continue preaching and teaching his Word all over the world. The world is just beginning to see what a "Jewel" we have at Empowerment Temple in you.
I would also like for you to pray for me as God has directed me to move to the Tampa Florida area for ministry - "Not my will, but his will be done". I need your prayer as the process of getting there has been full of setbacks and dissapointments. But as you preached on Sunday, this storm in my life has been pushing me and the wind behind me is actually guiding me. I want to be a fit vessel for God to use however he chooses.

Ask that you pray for me and my family. My husband just lost his job but I am not upset or running around crazy and I know its because I have been girded up with word where I was weak the word made me strong.

Thanks for opening up this altar. I thank God for giving me the discipline to read everyday. I pray that God will continue to strengthen me, my family, and everyone I am connected to. I pray for Empowerment Temple and that the church will continue to go higher and higher and will continue to positively impact Baltimore like never before. I asked God this morning while I was praying to bless me so that I can bless others. Help me so I can help others. Pastor you have been helping me in so many ways and areas in my life. First of all I have stopped eating meat after the 21 day fast last year,glory to God something, I knew I just couldnt do!
My reason for prayer is guidence in wether to let go or 2tostay in a relationship that seems to be dying, and a moving situation which seems to be confusing (moved 1st time by my self)and I feel lonely there alone. I had to move due to me and my mom not connecting because of religous reasons. So I am not close to most of my family at all and my weight is up and down because of the many sudden changes in my life.
Pastor I sit here today needing much PRAYER because I desire a husband,home,car,family, and a normal life.
I feel like my life has totaly taken a turn (very uncomfortable) and it hurts but I still trust god.
Pastor I have not caught up with u all ( I sure wish I did )and I dont want to give up. I pray for others all the time now. LORD forgive me for all of my sins known and unknown to me. Thank you Father God for leading me to this site today. I want to add my prayers with the Saints of God who come to this internet altar. God only in You is perfect wisdom. I pray that Your sons and daughters seek You and ask for wisdom above all else. Much of the trials Your children endure is due to the choices we make. We expect You to be in control over our lives and thereby be responsible for the messes we make, but You give us the guidance through Your Spirit and Your Word to make the RIGHT choices. We have to ACT accordingly. Sometimes the right choice causes pain, suffering, humiliation and lack. We want to avoid such things. I pray for Your sons and daughters to be willing to take the time to make wise decisions, which will not always be popular ones. We must study the Word to know if what we do lines up with Your ways. Heavenly Father, You sent a college classmate into my life to help me release junk out of me that's held me back for years! Now I didn't expect it to be like this, yet it really challenged me in a big way. OK, Lord, the buck stops here! I don't want to hurt anymore about anything or anybody else! What's done is done and I've learned the lessons I needed to learn to become a better me. I'm tired of hurting over the past. Father, I'm often told not to question God, but You are the only One who has all the answers! You said that You will perfect those things that concern me, and my employment has become a concern, again.
When I lost my 1st career opportunity {of 8 1/2 yrs} a couple of years ago, I didn't fight or question it for I knew it was my fault. When I left my part-time, it wasn't a problem because I didn't want to be there anyway. Early Spring 2008, You have blessed me with a new IT career opportunity where I relocated from my home state to here, and without warning, my job contract ended, and I want to know what happened? I promised You and myself that I will not blow it. I've given it my best, came to work on time, worked late, worked remotely from home, worked well with my colleagues, the whole nine. But I was told "I was not the perfect fit for the team" and so my job contract ended of no fault of my own and I'm job searching again.
Father, You said that if I lack wisdom You will freely give it to me without reproach. You saw everything and in faith I am asking You to tell me about it. If I have to dream about it, that's fine. I don't like being in denial or in ignorance about anything concerning me. I don't like living like this, again.
So right now, I am asking in faith from You for the inside scoop of what really happened. I can only have peace about this when I know the truth, and You are the way, the truth and the life. In the name of Jesus, tell me what happened and show me what I must do to get back into my IT career field and stay there until retirement. I will have my bible, pen, and pad beside me, waiting to hear from you. I thank You for Your answer and guidance of what I must do next. Oh, please forgive me for being angry at You, blaming You, for what's happened. Your plans are only to prosper me and not to harm me. Amen.

MY Testimony
Now What!!! That's the question I had to ask myself after I graduated from college June 12, 2008. I had to move from Atlanta to Greensboro Nc in one day, First, I want to say it was not easy I've been in Atlanta for 18 years of my life but when GOD closes a door it's closed. Me and my dog buster on 85 North in a U-haul towing my truck on the back and asking God please talk to me, tell me what to do because I'm just a child in this world and if you can't help me or talk to me I'm lost. In Atlanta nobody called me about a job, I've been here since Aug 4 and I've had 5 interview and Monday someone call me for a job that starts next Monday. I have been through hell and back but I had to go through the storm and stand. On Sunday God gave me Rom 8 and told me I got you cover, all I could do is cry because I knew who I am and who my father is, so I knew a job was on the way because of the conflict, my truck breakdown, now I don't know anybody here in Greensboro but everybody in this complex help me with my truck. I told the devil then NO Devil NO WITCH WILL KEEP ME FROM MY Destiny SO DON'T PLAY WITH ME I'M COVERED. The next day which was this Monday I got a call telling me can I start next Monday. I have not found a church because I used to watch Bishop Long and TD.Jakes and you Pastor Bryant, so until I find a church I'll be watching you on Tv. My Godmother told me not to give up on my dreams of being a film maker I told her I wouldn't God is just hiding me right now. Thank-You Pastor Bryant for not sugarcoating anything, this blog got me through somethings. Thank you all

First, giving thanks to GOD for a day that was not promised to us. Over the past three months of this spiritual journey, my spiritual maturity has advanced to a level that the Love of GOD and CHRIST is truly instilled in my heart, soul, body, mind and spirit. I can now act and walk with the holy spirit. Please pray for my marriage and the safety and welfare of my children and family. GOD bless everyone who has partaken in this journey. Please pray for our nation.

Father God thank You for the privilege of prayer, that the veil of the temple was torn that we can come boldly to the throne of grace and find mercy getting the help that we need. Thank You for Your Holy Spirit presence and thank You for all the many blessings great and small that You bestow upon us out of Your grace. Father Pastor Bryant labors in Your vineyard night and day and keeps a family together at home, it is a labor of love. First of all for his family Lord. Bless Him to continue to love his wife like Christ loves the church and gave Himself for it, dwelling with his wife according to knowledge and being satisfied with the wife of his youth. May she respect her husband and they together continue to train up their children in the Lord. Father bless that they be filled with all wisdom knowledge and understanding with discernment concerning the situations they will face as the girls grow up. Thank You that You Holy Father increase them more and more, daily loading them with benefits. We thank You that You empower Him and that You strengthen him with all might according to Your glorious power. Father that Pastor Bryant be wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove. May he have a walk worthy of You being all pleasing and fruitful in every good work, Your grace always abounding in him that he be sufficient in all that You have assigned him to do and enabled him to say on that day " I have finished my course, I have run my race." We thank You for the wisdom You have filled him with and brought him to pour out of himself unto those that You place in his sphere. He is blessed to be a blessing and we thank You for that anointing upon his life. As he continues in Your will we pray that the anointing upon his life increases and out of his belly flow the rivers of living water that satisfies longing souls and fills hungry souls with goodness. Let noone who enters his church burdened down or depressed or sick or having need of any spiritual help leave the same way they went in. We pray You use him and the ministry leaders to loose the heavy burdens, take the yokes from off the peoples necks and set the captives free knowing that his reward is from You. Thank You that as we have prayed according to Your word which is Your will, we have that which we asked of You in the name of Jesus who paid it all we thank You. amen

Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask that You continue to bless and keep Pastor Jamal Bryant as he continues to go out into the world, preaching the blessed Gospel of Jesus Christ. Keep your loving arms around him, and protect him from any hurt, harm, or danger that the enemy tries to send his way. Continue to strengthen the Empowerment Temple AME Minister Staff as they continuously work together, holding down the fort in his absence, bringing forth the Word of God.
